As many
people venture into network
marketing you will begin to see what will be a familiar evolution from
employee to successful entrepreneur. Unfortunately about 95 percent of
those who attempt a home business will not make it. And, a very small
portion of the remaining 5 percent will actually achieve the success
they dream of.
This evolution is one that everyone goes through.
No exceptions.
It all begins with what has been referred to as
the honeymoon phase. This is when people make the move to start their
home business, usually a multilevel or network marketing company. The
excitement is at an all time high. They envision making a lot of money
and building huge down-lines.
This phase of network marketing evolution,
whether through traditional or online methods, usually lasts about 2-3
weeks. People are feeling confident and are at the height of
enthusiasm.
Then about 2-3 weeks in, people come to the
realization that what they have gotten themselves into is actually a
legitimate home business. There is work that needs to be done. At this
point, you will find about 95 percent of these first time network
marketers will move on.
It is the point where the honeymoon phase ends
that the learning/integration phase begins. Here most people realize
that they need to learn how their business works and begin to develop
some new skills.
In the learning/integration phase of network
marketing people will generally fall into one of three categories:
1. Information overload 2. Over thinkers 3.
Learning into action
A large number of people will begin to take the
reins into their hands and absorb new information. Overwhelmed by the
tremendous amount of information out there, they become paralyzed into
inactivity. Their home business will stagnate and fail.
In the second category, people readily shift from
the honeymoon phase into a learning phase. However, the issue here is
that they get stuck in this learning phase. They over think everything.
They strive to learn all there is to know about their network marketing
or multilevel marketing company and products. They spend all of their
time trying to master marketing and very little if any time actually
performing income generating activities. This is not the most desirable
category to fall into either. Once again the home business will
stagnate and fail.
The third category is comprised of the very few
people who move into action immediately. These are the very people who
rise to quick success. They are generally the top producers in any
network marketing program they join. In this category you will
generally find people who put into action the things they learn right
away. These are the entrepreneurs who quickly move to the third stage
of network marketing which is categorized by massive action.
This third stage is where major success occurs.
This is where only about 3 percent of home business entrepreneurs fall.
The successful entrepreneurs in this stage have their business'
virtually on autopilot. They have devised a daily mode of operation
that works like a finely tuned machine. This is the stage that all
network marketers strive to be.
The bottom line is that there are three stages in
the evolution of the most successful network marketing entrepreneurs.
The honeymoon stage followed by the learning stage and then comes the
massive action stage. The difference between being part of the 95
percent who fail early on and the 3 percent who make, it big is taking
action.
Which stage will you be in?
